The remodeling will begin Monday, August 9, on the north wall of the Sanctuary.  The office has been moved to the Library so remodeling can begin. 

Please have patience with the unavoidable disruptions that goes with the remodeling.

A class will be held Wednesday, July 21st, 6:30 -9 PM for training by the Red Cross on the defibrillator that Vincent has received through a grant.  The cost for the training is $25.00 per person. The Mission Team will feature one SCHOOL kit each quarter throughout the year.  This quarter we will be featuring the School kit for July, August, and September.  The School kit includes:
*    1 blunt scissors (rounded tip ONLY)
*    2 pads of 8X11 inch ruled paper (can use spiral bound notebooks)
*    1 – 30 centimeter ruler
*    1 hand held pencil sharpener
*    6 unsharpened pencils with erasers
· 1 – 21/2  inch eraser
*    12 sheets construction paper (varied colors)
· 1 box of 24 crayons (ONLY 24)

In some countries, children don’t have books or school supplies.  Many have no schoolrooms; classes are held in inadequate or half-destroyed buildings, tents, or even in the open air.  Often students must write down everything the teacher says or records on a board.  Their teacher’s knowledge and their own notes are their only textbooks.  School kits may be these children’s only educational resources.  This UMCOR kit is designed for a variety of ages. 
Place items in a see-through zip-lock bag so everything shows.  Then put into a 14" X 16" cloth bag with handles and a velcro closure.

If you would be interested in playing in the Minot Youth for Christ Golf Scramble on June 28th, contact any of the following: Debby at the church office at 838-4425; Kevin Regala at 839-0256; or Scott Evanoff at 838-2988.  Scramble is at Souris Valley Golf Course and begins at 12:00 Noon.

It is a Great time and the money goes toward a Great cause.  Sign up deadline is June 13th.   Last year Vincent fielded two teams and a number of the players from last year cannot play this year, so join in the fun.
