Many faithful people feel guilty resting because there is always more to do, more people to help, more problems to solve. But refusing rest can quietly become a form of spiritual pride.

Summer rest is not an escape from faithfulness. It may be how faithfulness survives. Jesus does not shame tired disciples. He calls them away.
